Miller wins USGWA Title

Woodward seventh grade wrestler Joey Miller won her fourth girls National wrestling championshop this weekend in Lake Orion Michigan this last weekend .
Miller pinned four girls to win the title. She wrestled girls from Michigan,Ohio,Oregan, and Hawaii. The usgwa tournament is the biggest girls tournament in the U.S anditdrew over 600 girls from all over the U.S .
In preraration for the national tournament, Miller wrestled in usgwa State tournaments in Kentucky, Tennessee, Colorado, New Mexico, Iowa, Texas, and two tournaments in Oklahoma where she wrestled in the High School Div.She won every match by either tech fall or pin.She also got three outstanding wrestler awards.
In 2 weeks Miller will be heading to Minnesota to wrestle in the Cadet Nationals tournament and try to earn a spot on the U.S cadet National team
