Cancellation of Sweden Cup February 2002
Due to circumstances outside our control we are forced to cancel this year’s tournament Sweden Cup 2002. We have considered alternative options for the tournament but we have no other option than to take this unpleasant decision since our apprehension is that we are not able to accomplish a tournament of high quality.
The tournament Sweden Cup has been a great success the last three years with a lot of appreciated competitors and with outstanding wrestling. The high quality of the competitors participating in this tournament is a confirmation that the tournament has been highly regarded.
Our intention is to continue with this tournament and we will therefore increase our efforts to make sure that we can arrange Sweden Cup 2003 in the same excellent manner as previous years. We hope that the bad news does not prevent you from attending Sweden Cup in the future since we really enjoy having you all here in Sweden.
You will hear from us again around the end of autumn 2002 with invitations for next years Sweden Cup. We will be happy to answer questions so do not hesitate to contact us if any uncertainty exists.
We are sorry for any inconvenience that this decision may have caused.
