Several wonderful things are happening with our film, thanks to the
support of one of the strongest brotherhoods in the world, you: the
wrestling community. Here's the latest news.
REVERSAL According To John Irving
---------------------------------
John Irving, Academy award-winning author of "The World According To
Garp," "The Hotel New Hampshire" and "Cider House Rules" had a chance
to see the film. In a very nice letter he wrote to us, he calls
REVERSAL "much more truthful and authentic than Vision Quest."
As an ex-wrestler himself, John ought to know! We're thrilled to have
his endorsement.
Film Festival In Florida!
-------------------------
We have been accepted into the Sarasota Film Festival, which is
sponsored by Regal Cinemas. Regal has a nationwide chain of over
3,000 theaters, and they claim the Sarasota Festival is "bigger than
the Sundance Film Festival for family genre films."
Anyone in Florida: we need your help! Everyone who attends gets to
vote on the film. Please come see it, and support wrestling!
Starting the week of January 14 you can get reserved tickets at the
box office, which is across the street from the theater. Look for

Christians In Florida

This movie tells an important story. In fact, Dr. Ted Baehr on
Movieguide's review said: "The movie has good Christian values and
moral messages. I cried!"
Do you have any contacts in the Christian and church communities? I
can send you flyers if you'd like to pass them out at schools and
churches near the area of the Sarasota theaters. Anything that
creates awareness could really help us spread the positive messages
in this film.
Tulsa and Beyond
----------------
The Tulsa, Oklahoma opening is this coming Friday, January 18 -- in
conjunction with the Tulsa Nationals. In fact, we are one of the
sponsors of the Tulsa Nationals. Coincidentally, Tulsa is the
hometown of the film director Alan Vint. And, the young actor in our
film, Derrick Nelson, is competing in the tournament.
Kenny Monday and Kendall Cross, both Olympic gold medallists, will be
appearing at the theater to support the film. Alan Vint (the
director) and I will be flying out as well.
Yesterday somebody called to tell me he is driving from Missouri to
Tulsa -- with his kids -- to see this film. Can you believe that? I'm
overwhelmed!
After Tulsa, we plan to continue the campaign by showing the movie
throughout the state of Oklahoma first, then slowly moving out from
there. We are going to need all the help we can get in promoting the
film through radio, TV, schools, churches, etc. If you know anyone in
the media that we could contact for a story, or an interview, please
get in touch with us.
I am currently negotiating with six other theater chains in several
states that have seen the film and want to book it. What this means
is that Reversal will be seen in theaters, regardless of what
Hollywood thinks, and it will get to the American people -- real
people.

We're getting emails from around the globe. The United States
military wants this film in every military base around the world and
on our battleships that are currently engaged in Afghanistan.
We also have a few independently owned theaters that we will send
prints to, so they can play the movie. We will keep you updated on
