Junior Team

Hello,here is a list of the junior team and some information about them.Feel free to make any corrections,and I apologize for any spelling errors.

43kilos-Erica Dye.From West Virginia,a High school senior this school year,finished fourth at senior nationals this year,second at the usgwa nationals,o/w the Klippen ladies cadet tournament,very tough and aggressive.

46kilos-Clarrissa Chun,From Hawaii and now wrestling for Missouri Valley.Finished third at senior nationals,won the senior division of the Klippen open,finished second at senior world team trials against Trish Saunders,won University nationals.An excellent upper body wrestler,should do very well.

50kilos,Jenny Wong,from Minnesota and now wrestling for Team Sunkist and Lock Haven University.The vetern of the junior team,Jenny finished second at senior nationals,where she defeated the 2000 senior world silver medalist,Patricia Miranda.She finished third at senior world team trials,first at university nationals,third at Sunkist,and is a former usgwa champion.
Jenny was MVP of the junior world team trials,and should be considered a favorite to win a medal.Also won Gold at the Yassar Dogu tournament in Turkey.

54kilos-Melina Hutchinson,from Alaska,will be attending Menlo College next year.A former Cadet world silver medalist.Melina has competed intenationally for several years,and has all the tools to medal.

58kilos-Brandy Rosenbrock,from Michigan,going into her junior season of high school,a two time usgwa champion,finished second at the Klippen senior tournament,defeated the junior world team member from last year to make the team.Brandy is gettig ready to make her mark on the senior level,is a tough competitor and should do well.

63kilos-Tori Adams,from Amarillo,Texas,now wrestling for Missouri Valley college.Tori is in her first year of freestyle,and is doing very well.She finished third at senior nationals,fourth at senior world team trials,and is a 2 time usgwa champion.
Tori is an extremely hard worker and is picking up the freestyle aspect of the sport quickly.She will make a name for herself soon enough,her work ethic will see to that.
In a traditionally tough weight,she should have a good tournament.

68kilos-Toccara Montgomery,from Cleveland,Ohio,Competes for Team Sunkist and will be attending Cumberland College next year.
Toccara is coming off an extremly successful year,finishing with her winning a spot on the junior as well as the senior world teams.Won Yassar Dogu tournament in Turkey,Manitoba Open in Canada,Sunkist,University nationals,Senior nationals,Junior World team trials,Senior World team trials,USGWA Nationals and was Junior world silver medalist last year.
Toccara is great on her feet,and is getting stronger and stronger in pare tere.
Should be considered the favorite at this weight class.

75kilos-Elana Mena,from Minnesota,
Elana won her first Junior world team birth,sadly,by beating her sister in the finals by fall.A strong competitor with a devastating head and arm,has the ability to throw anyone.Has competed on the senior level for many years,owns wins over many of the U.S.A. senior women.She should have a good tournament and medal.
TEAM coached by Tadaki Hatta and Asfoon Johnson.

Overall,a very strong team,with a chance at winning it all.A lot depends on the girls getting out of thier pools,but is one of the strongest junior teams ever.
