An issue in wrestling is that many athletes do not get the chance to reach their potential because of funding problems. There is a wrestling banquet is held the evening of Saturday, May 28, 2005 and it's goal is to fundraise money for wrestling in Toronto for females and males. It is associated with Wrestling at York, U of T, and CYC (Cabbagetown Youth Centre). There will be live music, performed by the jazz quartet of U of T, prizes and giveaways, guest speakers, an awards ceremony, and AMAZING food served by excellent caterers. This dinner is a great event and it is open to friends and family, young and old, and everyone in between! If you are interested in attending, or for more information, please let me know. If you can post this on your site (or a summary of this information, that would be very much appreciated).
Attached is more information about this event. Please contact me if you would like tickets, to make a donation, or just for more general information.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
